NSAIS is short for North-European Society for Adaptive and Intelligent Systems. NSAIS is an in Finland registered scientific society that promotes theoretical and application oriented research into adaptive and intelligent systems, promotes research institutes and information exchange and technology transfer, strives to create a forum for discussions, and to foster interest in the domain.
NSAIS is a member society of the International Fuzzy Systems Association (IFSA)
and has a collaboration agreement with the European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology (EUSFLAT).
What NSAIS concentrates on is the theory and applications of adaptive and intelligent systems and especially fuzzy and soft systems, neural networks and evolutionary computing. Also fields closely connected to the above are promoted.
The association will publish research and organize workshops and conferences. The official languages of the association are English and Finnish.
